Throughout 2019 the Royal Court were in Waltham Forest working on Listen Local, a project as part of the Mayor’s London Borough of Culture. They launched with See the Real, a competition inviting Waltham Forest residents to make a 100 second film of somewhere that was special to them.

They then created a Mini Forest Cinema to take the films on tour. The cinema was designed by local artists in a re-purposed caravan and built in Waltham Forest.

Eldon Road, E17 came runner up.
